About Us
Millvalley Vet Clinic
The veterinary practice was founded in the early 1930’s by John T. Barry and was based at Abercromby Place in Fermoy. Conor O’ Brien took over the practice and relocated to Courthouse Road in Fermoy. Pat Noonan joined in 2001, becoming partner in 2003. We moved to our new clinic in May 2022.

Pat qualified from UCD in 2001 and is interested in all aspects of companion animal and farm animal medicine and surgery. Pat completed a Certificate in Dairy Herd Health in 2014.Dr. Níamh Ní Bhroin

Niamh is one of our companion animal clinicians. Niamh graduated from UCD in 2018 and spent time working as a companion animal vet in Dublin, Limerick, and West Sussex. During this time, Niamh completed her Certificate in Small Animal Medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Niamh works chairperson of The Veterinary Sustainability Network Ireland. In her spare time, she spends time with her partner and two cats in Cashel.

Lucy qualified from UCD in 2024. Lucy is interested in both companion and large animal medicine and surgery.

- Treatment area/ Hospitilisation – many minor, non-sterile procedures are carried out here as is preparation for sterile surgeries. Our pet ward uses clean and comfortable stainless-steel kennels for our day-patients recovering from surgery.
